Hey there, Dolphin Families!

The 2025 season officially begins on MONDAY, May 19, and the coaches cannot wait to dive in with all of you!

First Practice Details:
Practice runs from 6:00-7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and we’ll kick things off with swim evaluations for all swimmers. This helps us make sure everyone is safe and set up for success.

Here’s what to expect:

• 6:00-6:30 PM → Swimmers who are new to the Dolphins or 8 years old & under
• 6:30-7:30 PM → Returning swimmers 9 & older
• Every swimmer will complete a simple swim test during their first practice.
• Swimmers need to be able to swim one length of the pool, unassisted, in any style they choose.
• No need to know all the strokes – just bring your best effort and a big smile!

We’ll also be snapping quick photos of each swimmer to help our awesome parent volunteers identify them at meets. If your swimmer needs help spelling their name, feel free to hop in the photo line with them!

A Quick Heads Up:
There will be no practice on Saturday, May 25 or Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day Weekend.

Other Important Info:

• Paying by check? No problem! A board member will be available to collect payments during the first few practices.
• T-shirts from registration should arrive soon. We will let you know when you can come grab them!
• Parent Meeting: Thursday at 6:00 PM. Join Coach Janelle at the beginning of practice to hear more about what’s ahead. You’ll get an info sheet with all the details you need. Can’t make it? Don’t worry – I’ll follow up by email and have the info sheets available all week.
• The Dolphin Store is OPEN! Get your gear HERE or on our website! All kinds of custom teamwear for swimmers, families, and fans is available through June 29. Stock is limited, so don’t wait! If you are wanting to order a silicone cap, keep an eye out – ordering info coming soon!
